Christmas is nearly upon us, and as usual, we are slaving away over hot computers. A very exciting development for us is that we were commissioned by the New York City Ballet to reset their score and parts for Balanchine’s ‘A Midsummer Nights Dream’ It contains not only the incidental musicย  from the work, but also many lesser known works by Mendelssohn. As you may imagine, there were many many notes. It’s gone very well, and we now have another order for it from the Miami City Ballet.

We have also been hard at work deciphering some works by the Belgian composers Eugรจne Ysaye and Albert Huybrechts.

2016 sees most of the music of Bartok and Webern entering the public domain, and we will be offering a selection of those composers works.

Next year is also the bicentenary of the English composer Sir William Sterndale Bennett. we are working with the heirs and the estate of Sterndale Bennet to realise anew the 5 piano concerto for performance and possible release on disc, along with 3 of his Overtures and some chamber music.
